Update on COVID-19 and our parks

Good To Go Wales - English Green.png

Current Guidelines & Restrictions - 7th August 2021

WE ARE CURRENTLY AT ALERT LEVEL 0

  • At Alert Level Zero, from 7 August 2021, there are no legal limits on the number of people who can meet,              including in private homes, public places or at events. In addition all businesses and premises may be open.

  • Everyone must continue to self-isolate for 10 days if they test positive for COVID-19.  If you are a close contact of someone who has tested positive and you are aged 18 or over and not fully vaccinated, you must also self-isolate for 10 days.

  • Although most of the Government restrictions in Wales have now been lifted we will still ensure that our parks operate in a safe way inline with the current government guidelines.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Social Distancing screens will remain in place where possible along with signage and hand sanitiser points.

Social distancing is again encouraged and we would ask that you please be respectful of others.

FACE MASKS

We would encourage you to continue wearing face masks even though they are no longer required when entering our bar and restaurant, however face masks still remain compulsory in any other indoor public areas.

HAND WASHING

There are general principles you can follow to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses such a COVID-19, including:

  • washing your hands more often - with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use a hand sanitiser, when you get home or into work, when you blow your nose, sneeze or cough, eat or handle food

  • avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands

  • avoid close contact with people who have symptoms

  • cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in a bin and wash your hands

  • clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces in the home

GENERAL

Normal service will now resume within our bar and restaurant areas and we will no longer be operating a bar table service.

Our restaurant will be open as usual operating our full dine in menu along with still offering a full takeaway service.

All Entertainment will resume as planned for the summer season and Matt & Jo can not wait to welcome you all back for what we are good at.

Our swimming pool will remain open with our current booking system, with the addition of a later slot 6.00pm - 7.00pm and now we are allowing 20 persons per slot.

Current Guidelines & Restrictions - 22nd July 2021

WE ARE CURRENTLY AT ALERT LEVEL 2

  • You must follow social distancing rules with people you don’t live with or who aren’t in your exclusive extended household

  • wear a face covering (unless you have a reasonable excuse not to wear a face covering) in all indoor public places

  • not meet with anyone in a private home other than those you live with or your exclusive extended household

  • meet no more than 5 other people indoors at a café, restaurant or other open premises (unless with your household of a larger number)

  • meet no more than 5 other people outdoors or in private gardens (unless with your household of a larger number)

  • work from home if you can

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Social distancing measures (also known as physical distancing) are steps you can take to reduce very close or

physical contact between yourself and other people. This will help reduce the transmission of COVID-19. They are:

  • Keep your distance from other people who are not part of your household or extended household – stay 2 metres (3 steps) away from others when outdoors and in enclosed spaces outside the home setting.

  • Avoid contact with someone who is displaying symptoms of  COVID-19. These symptoms include high temperature, or new and continuous cough, or loss of or change to sense of smell or taste.

  • All employers and premises that allow the public into to their premises have to take reasonable measures to minimise the risk of exposure to COVID-19.  Always co-operate with any social distancing, hand-washing or other measures that are in place for your own safety and that of others.

  • Avoid large and small gatherings in public spaces, where there are no reasonable measures in place as infections spread easily in closed spaces where people gather together.

  • You should not gather indoors with friends and family other than people you live with or those in your extended household. If meeting up in a hospitality setting with others who are not part of your extended household social distancing measures will still need to be observed.

  • Outdoor meetings with others who are not part of your extended household are permissible but  social distancing measures need to be observed.

FACE MASKS

The evidence remains clear that the most effective way to protect yourself and others from infection is to follow social distancing rules, avoid touching surfaces and your face, and wash your hands regularly. Face coverings are not a substitute for these measures, but in some circumstances where it might be difficult to stay 2 metres away from others, we are advising the use of three-layer, non-medical face coverings for those aged 11 and over. Children aged under 11 may use face coverings if they wish, but they should never be used on children under the age of 3 on breathing safety grounds.

Some things will be a little Different - 1st April 2021

We hope that you are all excited and looking forward to holidaying with us, after the last couple of months we have had, we cannot wait to welcome you on park.

There will be however a few things that we do differently this time.

Firstly, there will obviously be guidelines on how the park operates in order to stay COVID-19 safe.

Social Distancing screens will be in place where possible along with signage and hand sanitiser points.

All of our parks will be practicing social distancing in line with the current Government guidelines.

Face-masks must be worn in all public areas indoors.

RECEPTION

Our reception will be manned however we would ask that should you need to contact us during your stay that you call or email us.

Please can you email us the following details prior to your arrival in order to ensure we have everything correct.

Names and Ages of all in Party, Mobile Telephone Number, Car Registration Number

Should you wish to bring a second car then this will need to be arranged beforehand in order to supply a second barrier key fob in readiness for your arrival.

There will be a £10.00 deposit needed for your keys and we request that this payment be transacted using a contactless payment method, again in order to limit contact, don’t worry this then will automatically be refunded to you upon the return of your keys once you have departed.

Attached to your keys will be a grey barrier fob and this will give you access onto the park. When you drive up to the barrier, just on the right-hand side there is a keypad, simply place the grey fob in front of the keypad and the barrier will open.

One car may be parked by the side of the caravan and all other vehicles will need to be parked in our main car park.

Although our cleaning practices are of the highest standards, we will now be taking extra precautions when getting your holiday accommodation ready for your arrival.

Your caravan will thoroughly be cleaned and once our cleaning process has been complete, we will then use a Fogging Machine throughout your accommodation. This machine sprays a fine mist and disinfects all surfaces which will help prevent the risk of any viruses especially COVID19.

Should you have chosen the option for bed linen then we will continue to make the beds for your arrival.

We hope that everything will be in order for when you arrive however if we have missed something and you need one of our members of staff to help you, then please don’t be offended if they ask for you to either leave the caravan or go into a separate room whilst they deal with the problem.

The wearing of face masks will be compulsory in all of our indoor areas including our shop, bar & restaurant.

SWIMMING POOL

We will be operating a booking system for our swimming pool and we will be keeping the same procedures and guidelines as 2020 in order to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Our booking system for the swimming pool will now be allowing a maximum of 15 persons in the pool area during each session and bookings can be made one week in advance.

We would please ask that you book responsibly in order to give everyone a fair chance of booking a swimming slot for the week.

Please adhere to social distancing whilst in the swimming pool area, you are swimming at your own risk.

All booked slots must arrive no earlier than 5 mins prior to your allocated time slot.

Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Even if the adult is not using the swimming pool, you will still be counted as a person within the 15 permitted at any one time.

You can book your time slot through reception between 9.00am – 7.00pm and we will need to take you names, age and caravan number when booking.

We will currently be opening the pool in allocated 1-hour time slots as follows:

Monday to Sunday

09.00am – 10.00am

10.30am – 11.30am

12.00midday – 1.00pm

1.30pm – 2.30pm

3.00pm – 4.00pm

4.30pm – 5.30pm

When leaving the pool, we ask that you do so swiftly in order to ensure a speedy turnaround for the next time slot.

BAR

Our bar is now open both inside and outside on our patio area. We an only offer table service at this time.

We have added some extra seating outside also and we cannot wait for you all to be back enjoying the beautiful weather.

For now, we are only allowed a maximum of 6 people at a table so please bear with us as it may take a little longer serving you.

Social distancing measures are still in place and we would ask that you please be respectful of others and adhere to the current government guidelines.

In order to comply with current guidelines you will be asked to fill out a form for track and trace purposes when entering our bar area.

RESTAURANT

Our restaurant is open for a takeaway food service every evening and this can be ordered either through the restaurant or reception.

Our restaurant will be open Monday to Thursday 17.00 to 21.00 and Friday & Saturday 17.00 to 22.00

ENTERTAINMENT

Matt & Jo will be on hand every evening (apart from a Wednesday) and will be offering a light entertainment schedule due to government restrictions still being in place.

They will be offering some light background music, bingo and quizzes and will be at Manorbier Country Park from 6.30pm until late.

DEPATURE

When it is time for you to leave, we would ask that you open all windows in your accommodation and that your bed linen be placed in the bag provided and if you could please dispose of any rubbish in the Biffa bins provided.

The barrier will automatically open on your departure from the park and then all you need to do is pop your keys into reception in order to ensure your key deposit is automatically refunded back to you.

We hope that you enjoy your stay with us even if it is a little bit different to what we are used to and for now have a safe journey and we will see you when you arrive.

Update for Holiday & Touring Bookings: 12th March 2021

We are re-opening from the 27th March 2021 for self contained accommodation inline with the latest

Government guidelines, so in just a few weeks you will be able to visit your favourite place again.

Unfortunately for those of you who live across the boarder in England there will be a bit longer to wait as your current restrictions and guidelines do not allow you to travel for holiday purposes until the 12th April 2021.

For those of you who have been affected by the current Welsh & English restrictions, we will be in touch with your options.

There will still be some restrictions in place and some facilities may have to remain closed for now, but we’re thrilled we’ll be able to welcome you back shortly to enjoy the best that Pembrokeshire has to offer.

Do not worry though, you will still be able to get take-away from our restaurant and shop, and we have plenty of wine, Prosecco, and beer in our fridges for you to choose from.

In the meantime should you wish to contact us, it may still be easier to email us info@countrypark.co.uk as we still need to deal with any of those who have been affected by the restrictions first and we really appreciate your patience, support and understanding.

See you all soon.

Update for Static Caravan Owners & Seasonal Tourers: 12th March 2021

We are re-opening from the 27th March 2021 for self contained accommodation inline with the latest

Government guidelines, so in just a few weeks you will be able to visit your favourite place again.

As you can appreciate this announcement leaves us with a short period of time to reconnect your caravan in the usual way.

For this year only, anyone who used our drain down service at the end of 2020 will now automatically be reconnected in the next couple of weeks so we can ensure that all caravans are ready for our re-opening.

There will still be some restrictions in place and some facilities may have to remain closed for now, but we’re thrilled we’ll be able to welcome you back shortly to enjoy the best that Pembrokeshire has to offer.

We will be in touch with any further information as and when we have it, but for now start getting your bags packed, your Prosecco chilled and relax knowing it won’t be long before you’ll be making the journey to us one again.

See you all soon.

Update for Static Caravan & Touring Holiday Bookings: 19th February 2021

Hello to all of our Holiday Guests,

As you are likely already aware, the lockdown period has been extended meaning we will remain closed for

a further 3 weeks.

As a result of this we regret to inform you that you will no longer be able to holiday with us as planned between the 1st March and the 15th March 2021.

We are contacting everyone who has a break booked with us which has been affected by the latest lockdown restrictions and we ask for your patience while we work through this list as quickly as we can.

As we are currently working remotely the easiest way to get In touch with us is currently via email at info@countrypark.co.uk and we will respond to your enquiry as soon as we can.

We will be back up and running as soon as we are able and we look forward to welcoming you and your family back to our park very soon.

Update for Owners & Seasonal Tourers: 19th February 2021

Hello to all of our Static Caravan Owners and Seasonal Pitch Holders,

As you are likely already aware, the government has not lifted the lockdown restrictions so we’re not yet able to

bring you the news we would like to.

We will update you as always via email, online and social media and hopefully in a few more weeks we will have the best update of all announcing our re-opening.

Please stay safe and we will be in touch very soon.

Update for Owners & Seasonal Tourers: 29th January 2021

Hello all, we hope that you are all keeping safe and well.

As you are more than likely already aware the lockdown restrictions have now been extended.

As you can imagine, we are disappointed that we’re not yet able to welcome you back, but we’re sure you’ll agree that everyone’s health and well-being has to take precedence.

We were so hopeful that we might be able to have our re-opening early, however all we can do now is accept our Governments advice and continue to follow the guidelines and remain hopeful that we will be able to re-open at our usual time.

We are heading in the right direction so all we need to do now is hope that the numbers keep reducing.

We will of course, as always, stay in touch and keep you updated.

Please stay safe.

All of us at Coastal Resorts

Update for Owners & Seasonal Tourers: 20th January 2021

A warm hello from everyone at Coastal Resorts, We hope that you are keeping safe and well.

Just a quick update from us to reassure you that we are still optimistic that the current Government restrictions

could be eased during the next review and that we can all resume some form of normality.

Although there may be some different guidelines when we open, we are hopeful that these will not have changed too much from the 2020 restrictions, but we will of course update you on any changes.

All of our parks remain "good to go" and we ask that you continue to follow the social distancing measures in place.

For anyone who uses our drain down and reconnection service, you will be aware that we would normally need 7 days' notice in order to re connect your caravan for your return, however things can change very quickly under the current circumstances.

As the next review date is on the 29th January 2021, it will not leave us much time should we be allowed to re-open as planned. We would therefore ask that you please be mindful of this when requesting your reconnection.

In the meantime, please stay safe and we will be in touch soon.

Update for Owners & Seasonal Tourers: 13th January 2021

Firstly, we hope that you had a good Christmas, and we would like to wish you a

Happy & Healthy New Year.

We were all hopeful that 2021 would bring with it a fresh start and a return to some normality, and that we

could put the year 2020 behind us.

Unfortunately, with the current Government restrictions and lockdowns we are once again constantly reviewing the current situation and with Government guidelines changing continuously, sometimes overnight, we may find ourselves in a difficult position.

Although the 1st February is a date that we are working towards, and no doubt a date you are looking forward to, given the current lockdown restrictions it is now likely that this may not happen, and we have to prepare ourselves for this eventuality.

For now, all we can do is follow the Government guidelines and advice and hope that we see a fall in the numbers so that we are able to go back to doing the things we love.

We will of course stay in touch through email, social media and our website.

Our maintenance team are still on park and we can assure you that we are on hand as always to ensure your holiday home is safe and secure.

As our office will be working remotely, and our phone lines are very busy, we would appreciate it if you could direct any queries you may have via email to info@countrypark.co.uk as this will be the quickest and easiest way to contact us, however, as always should you need to contact us urgently then please call us on (01834) 871952.

In the meantime, keep everything crossed that we will all be together once again very soon.

Stay Safe!

Update for Owners & Seasonal Tourers: 10th July 2020

We hope that you are all excited and looking forward to returning to our parks.

ITS GREAT NEWS WE ARE ALLOWED TO RE-OPEN 2 DAYS EARLIER THAN EXPECTED!

When we re-open on the 11th July 2020, there will obviously be guidelines on how the park operates in order to stay COVID-19 safe.

Social Distancing screens will be in place where possible along with signage and hand sanitiser points.

The park will open under the Government Guidance and currently only self-contained units are permitted to be used. A self-contained unit is one that has its own facilities including kitchen, shower room & toilet.

All Shared facilities across our parks such as the swimming pool, shower blocks, gym, laundry and other communal areas will remain closed until further guidelines have been released from the Government.

We will be operating a reduced takeaway menu from our bar and restaurant and this will be for collection only, again until further guidelines allow us to reopen them in their entirety.

Our reception will be manned however we would ask that you continue to contact reception by email or telephone for all enquiries.

All gas will need to be ordered through reception by email or over the phone and will be delivered between the hours of 9 to 5 Monday to Friday.

When you first arrive back to your caravans we recommend that you follow the current guidelines and run all of your hot and cold-water taps for 2 mins, including your shower and flush any toilets that you have twice.

For our owners who sub-let their caravans, holiday bookings will commence as normal from the 17th July 2020. You are all aware that our cleaning practices are of the highest possible standard already, however we will be implementing new guidelines in order for us to be extra safe.

We would therefore ask that any owners who are occupying their caravans prior to a park sublet that your caravan is vacated before 10am on the departure day, earlier if possible, and that you remove your own bed linen. Please ensure that your caravan is left clean and that all personal belongings are either removed or locked away. Please also remove any rubbish and dispose of this in the Biffa bins provided.

Any owners who let their caravans privately and not through the park can continue to do so. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are compliant with all Government guidelines, rules and regulations. Update on COVID-19 and our parks

General Update: 20th April 2020

Firstly, we hope you and your family are keeping safe. These uncertain times are clearly causing huge disruption for all of us.

As you are all aware, we as a business were forced to close and we’re sure you understand that we have had no control over this situation.

Having to close our business down is having a massive financial impact on us and a risk that no company would expect to deal with.

We are a small family run business and we now find ourselves in unchartered territory, everything we have built on over the years is at risk of being totally devastated.

Under these very difficult circumstances we are following Government advice and looking at the ever-changing situation on a daily basis.

We trust you appreciate that we are all working in extreme and difficult times.

We will of course stay in touch and keep you updated whilst we all fight to get through these hard and simply scary times.

Stay safe

Update for Holiday Makers: 7th April 2020

The Coronavirus continues to affect the lives of each and every one of us, from you, our holidaymaker to our owners and staff.

As we continue to follow the Governments instruction, you will be aware that the Government have imposed a nationwide travel ban for all non-essential travel along with closing all holiday parks and leisure facilities.

This, we're sure you understand is totally beyond our control and we are really sorry for the disappointment caused to you and your family.

As a result of this you may no longer be able to holiday with us as planned.

With the uncertainty around the ongoing situation with Covid-19 we fully understand how disappointing this will be, but I think we are all in full support of the Government in its actions at this incredibly difficult time.

This ever-changing situation is incredibly difficult for not only us but for you as our holidaymaker and we can assure you we are working on opening back up as soon as possible within the Government guidelines.

Every decision we make, we do to ensure the safety and security of our guests, owners and team during these unprecedented times.

To limit the disappoint at this time we will be honouring your booking and would like to offer you a change of date to another break in 2020 or 2021.

Don’t worry if you’re not sure when you would like to change your booking date too, we are giving you priority booking for 2020 and 2021 dates. We will hold the monies on account for when you are ready to re book.

As you can imagine we are working in extreme and unprecedented times and because of this we are working remotely.

We are contacting everyone who has a break booked with us which will be affected by the Government restrictions on a weekly basis.  We would like to thank our guests for their patience whilst we work through this as quickly as we can.

Update for Owners: 7th April 2020

We along with yourselves now find ourselves in unprecedented times. The Government is currently enforcing a ban on all non-essential travel and actively turning visitors away from the local area. Subsequently, all holiday parks have been told too close.

We would like to thank you for your co-operation and helping us to achieve this at such short notice. It clearly caused huge disruption for all of us, but I think we are all in full support of the Government in its actions.

This, we're sure you understand is totally beyond our control and we are really sorry for the disappointment caused.

Under these very difficult circumstances we are following Government advice and looking at the ever-changing situation on a daily basis.

We trust you appreciate that we are all working in extreme and difficult times.

Clearly, having to close the parks is a huge financial challenge and a risk that no company would expect to deal with, and it is a simple fact that many companies will not make it to the other side. There is simply no quick fix in these circumstances.

We appreciate this was a sudden closure and, as such, we are still available to contact by email or phone.

Rest assured we will look after your holiday home whilst you follow the Government advice and stay safe in your main residence.

We will of course stay in touch and keep you updated whilst we all fight to get through these hard and simply scary times.

Stay Safe.
